Dr. Clay founded Monarch Medicine in May 2024 with a simple conviction: urgent care should feel like you're seeing your own doctor — not a rotating cast of providers who don't know your name. She owns the practice alongside her husband Todd, and has built a physician-led team that reflects her commitment to clear, compassionate care.

Education & Training
Board-certified in Family Medicine. Nearly two decades of clinical experience spanning family medicine, urgent care, and hospital medicine.
Clinical Scope
Illness and injury evaluation, on-site X-ray interpretation, laceration repair, fracture management, pediatric urgent care, women's health, sports physicals, TB testing, STD screening, and wellness injections (VIB, NAD+).
Philosophy
Dr. Clay believes every patient deserves to be seen by a physician who reviews their history, listens without rushing, and explains the plan in plain language. She founded Monarch Medicine to deliver the kind of care she'd want for her own family.

What Makes Monarch Medicine Different
- Physician-owned, not hospital-owned. Dr. Clay owns and operates this clinic. She answers to patients, not corporate administrators.
- A physician at every visit. A Monarch physician evaluates you, reviews your history, and explains the treatment plan. The physician you see may vary.
- On-site X-ray & lab. Digital X-ray with same-visit physician review, rapid in-office tests, and blood draws sent to LabCorp. A radiologist’s final interpretation and send-out results may follow.
- Transparent pricing. Self-pay rates published. Clear in-office pricing before treatment. Published self-pay rates already include a 30% discount.
- Epic/MyChart integrated. Your visit is documented in Epic. Records can often be shared with other providers through MyChart and Care Everywhere.

Medical Assistants
Vitals, patient intake, clinical support, and ensuring your visit flows smoothly from check-in to checkout. Our MAs are the backbone of every patient interaction.
Radiology & Lab Staff
A radiologic technologist takes your digital X-rays, and a Monarch physician reviews them during your visit. A radiologist’s final interpretation may follow. We also provide rapid in-office tests and blood draws for tests sent to LabCorp. LabCorp bills separately.
Front Desk & Scheduling
Friendly check-in, insurance verification, MyChart support, and making sure your visit starts and ends on a positive note. Walk-ins and online booking welcomed.
