FROM DR. CLAY
Why Monarch Looks Like This
Walk-in urgent care should be simple. A patient walks in. A physician examines them, decides what is needed, explains the plan, and treats what can be treated.
Our team designed Monarch to deliver that simply. On-site X-ray, in-office procedures, rapid testing, prescriptions when clinically appropriate, and clear pricing before treatment begins. When something belongs with a specialist or your primary care doctor, we tell you and send the records along.
That is what every service on this page is built around.
— Dr. Lisa Clay, MD

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Common Questions About Monarch Services
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in during open hours: Monday–Friday 8am–6pm, Saturday–Sunday 9am–12pm. You can also schedule online through MyChart to hold a time slot.
What ages do you see?
All ages. Newborns through adults. There are no age restrictions for urgent care visits at Monarch. A Monarch physician examines you or your child and decides what is needed.
Do you accept insurance?
We are in network with Anthem BCBS, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and Encore/IU Health Plans. We are NOT in network with Medicaid or Humana. HSA and FSA accepted.
What if I don't have insurance?
Self-pay rates start at $105.70 for an established patient low-level visit and $153.30 for a new patient low-level visit — our self-pay pricing already includes a 30% discount from standard rates, no separate step needed. See our pricing page for the full fee schedule.
Can I get an X-ray here?
Yes. We have on-site digital X-ray for all ages. An office visit is required for every X-ray so a Monarch physician can examine you and order the imaging. The X-ray is taken by a radiologic technologist, reviewed with you during the visit, and sent for radiologist final read. See our walk-in X-ray page for details.
Can you handle multiple concerns in one visit?
Often, yes. A Monarch physician evaluates everything you bring in and decides what can be addressed during the visit and what needs follow-up. Some things benefit from a separate, focused visit — we will tell you when that is the case.
How quickly can I be seen?
Wait times vary by day and time. Walk-ins during off-peak hours often wait 15 minutes or less. You can also schedule online through MyChart to hold a time slot.
Can you send my records to my primary care doctor?
Records can often be shared with your primary care doctor through MyChart and Care Everywhere. Tell us at check-in who you would like records sent to.
