WHY IT MATTERS WHO SEES YOU
A Board-Certified Physician. Every Patient. Every Visit.
Monarch Medicine was founded by Dr. Lisa Clay, MD — board-certified in Family Medicine and serving as our Medical Director. The standard she built Monarch around is simple: every patient who walks through our doors is evaluated by a physician. Not a nurse practitioner. Not a physician assistant. A physician — every time.
Our physician team brings decades of combined clinical experience to Carmel families. When your child has a fever at 4 PM on a Sunday, when you have twisted an ankle, when the cough will not go away — you need someone with the training to catch what others miss. That is what we deliver.
Monarch opened in May 2024 with one mission: bring physician-quality care to Carmel without the wait, the cost, or the impersonal experience of a hospital system. Every service on this page reflects that commitment.
"I built Monarch because I believed Carmel families deserved real physicians — not whoever happened to be on shift. Every patient who comes through our doors gets the full attention and full training of a board-certified physician." — Dr. Lisa Clay, MD, Founder & Medical Director
