COVID-19 Testing

It is only collected in front, of the nose, this is not the deeper swab. 

Rapid Antigen Test, not a PCR and no Blood Test.

• Purpose: Detects if you are actively infected with the COVID-19 virus.
• Method: A nasal swab is used to collect a sample, which is then tested for the presence of the virus.
• Type: Rapid tests, which provide results quickly, and are highly accurate, are available.

You will receive a notice on MyChart, or printed result can be given in the office minutes later.

As of May 12, 2023, any cost sharing applied by your insurance company for your copay, deductible, or coinsurance associated with COVID-19 treatment and testing will be your responsibility. 

We highly recommend contacting your insurance provider ahead of time to determine your specific payment obligations 

You can also come to the front desk, and our team will assist you in navigating any insurance questions. 

For patients without insurance, the fee for COVID-19 testing is $31.50. Please note that an evaluation by one of our providers is required for all patients requesting a COVID-19 test. This ensures that you receive the appropriate care and guidance based on your individual health needs.

Yes, we can test your child. The test is not painful, and is collected in the front of the nose.
