At Monarch Medicine, we provide these essential evaluations at no cost, supporting our local athletes and their families.

What to Expect During the Sports Physical

Our sports physicals are thorough assessments conducted by experienced healthcare professionals. The examination includes:

• Medical History Review: We discuss your child’s medical history, including any previous injuries, surgeries, medications, and family health history, to identify potential risk factors.
• Physical Examination: This involves measuring height, weight, blood pressure, and vision, as well as evaluating the heart, lungs, abdomen, ears, nose, throat, posture, joints, strength, and flexibility.
• Discussion of Findings: After the examination, we discuss any concerns or recommendations to ensure your child is in optimal condition for sports participation.
